The Heart of Hospice Award

During the recent Hospice of Hope Charity Gala, Kavin Cartmell was awarded the 2022 Heart of Hospice Award. Kavin, the former Executive Director, brought national recognition to Hospice of Hope with her cutting-edge ideas, leadership, and utilizing her passion to stay ahead of the game, especially in the areas of regulatory and quality.

Under Kavin's leadership, the organization experienced significant growth in census and coverage area. Under her tenure she oversaw the building of the Maysville administrative office in 2000, the Mt. Orab office in 2006, the Ohio Inpatient Center in 2007, the Kentucky Care Center in 2012, and the Assisted living in 2013.

Since her retirement, Kavin has remained connected to the organization where she now serves as an active volunteer. Congratulations to Kavin Cartmell on this prestigious award of loyalty and dedication to end-of-life care!
