About Donation

How Can You Support the Organization?

Ways to Donate

  • Memorial Contributions - You can direct friends and family to make a memorial contribution to  Hospice of Hope in lieu of flowers. All contributions will support hospice care and grief support services in our fourteen-county service area. Simply notify your funeral home of your wishes, and they can help facilitate your request. The Hospice of Hope staff will notify you and the donor of every gift made in memory of your loved one.
  • Annual Contributions - Remember your loved one, a nurse, or caregiver by making an annual charitable contribution to Hospice of Hope. Hospice of Hope is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization where all donations are tax deductible. Gifts may be made in person, by mail, or online at www.hospiceofhope.org, and click on "Donate."
  • Memorial Patio - Ask how your loved one can be added to our Memorial Patio remembrance area located on our Kentucky Care Center campus. You may also learn more about this at www.hospiceofhope.org/ memorialpatio.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts are a way to continue the good work of Hospice of Hope and to honor your loved one. A gift to Hospice of Hope, that is part of al comprehensive estate plan, provides a way to complete a lifetime of giving or to make a significant gift that was not possible to make during your lifetime.

Planned gift arrangements are designed to respect your wishes and intent. Each plan is individually structured to assist you in making thoughtful decisions which help achieve your personal and philanthropic financial goals and objectives. It is a way to share your values and to help further the causes you believe to be important. One of the easiest options is to remember Hospice of Hope in your will with a bequest.

There are also ways to make a gift, receive a lifetime income, and get a tax deduction. A planned gift designation may include, but is not limited to, financial gifts, stocks, and even real estate. Our planned giving office would be pleased to work with you, and if you wish, ask your financial advisor to design a charitable planned gift that benefits you, your loved ones, and Hospice of Hope. Please contact the Office of Development at 606-759-4050 for more information.

Volunteering

Hospice of Hope volunteers are important to the patients, families, and the hospice team. There are many different services a hospice volunteer may perform. A hospice volunteer may provide companionship for the patient and respite for the family.

Volunteers may also speak to support groups or help with clerical work in the office. The Hospice of Hope Volunteer Coordinator provides training for potential volunteers and places them with an appropriate patient or to fulfill other Hospice of Hope needs where best suited. If you, your family. or a friend is interested in learning more about being a Hospice of Hope volunteer, please call our office at 606-759-4050 and ask to speak with the Volunteer Coordinator.

Appeal for Financial Support

Hospice of Hope is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization committed to providing quality end-of-life care and bereavement services to patients and families regardless of their ability to pay. Many of the services that Hospice of Hope provide are not reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid, or other private insurance carriers. As a result, we must rely on the generosity of the community to ensure that we have the resources necessary to meet the needs of the Hospice of Hope patient or loved one needing our services. There are many ways to help Hospice of Hope continue to provide compassionate care and support to the patients and families. If you would like to extend gratitude of our services with a financial gift to the organization, it would be very much appreciated.
