Hospice of Hope's award winning children's grief camp, Mountain Pathway is scheduled for July 31st, 2018. Moving through the grief process is often difficult - it's like climbing a mountain. Mountain Pathway is a unique day camp designed especially for children 6-12 years old and is tailored towards children who have lost a close and significant loved one. Hospice of Hope’s specially-trained bereavement staff will help children navigate their grief process in a safe and fun environment. Campers will have the opportunity to process their grief through the sharing of art and music. Other events will include: swimming, rock wall challenge, and zip Lining. Lunch, snacks and picnic supper will be provided.
This year's event is scheduled for July 31st from 9am to 5pm with a family picnic starting just after the camp. The location will be Butler Springs Christian Camp & Retreat in Hillsboro, OH. Call 800.928.4243 and ask for Peg Lynch to reserve your spot. Registration deadline is June 23rd with a fee of $5 per child. Hope to see you at camp!
