HOSPICE AIDE, FULL-TIME:
Hospice Aide, Ohio Inpatient Center (Seaman, Ohio), night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, three shifts per week, with weekends and on call as scheduled.
Hospice Aides provide bedside care to terminally ill patients within the scope of experience and ability, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Completion of State approved Nurse Aide course, testing, and STNA or SRNA registration required. At least one of year experience in a patient care position in a hospital, nursing home or related health care facility. High school diploma or GED required. Must demonstrate effective communication skills with team members, clients, and family members. Must arrange travel and be able to access client homes and nursing homes independently. Must demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment and observe universal precautions.
