Fight Flu: Get a Vaccine!

Millions of people get the flu every year, hundreds of thousands of people are hospitalized, and thousands or tens of thousands of people die!

The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months of age or older should get the flu vaccine every year. You can get the flu from your family, friends, coworkers, or others who you may come in contact with every day. If you get the flu, you can spread it even if you don’t feel sick!

To best prepare for this upcoming flu season, Hospice of Hope, in conjunction with the Joint Commission, is recommending that ALL healthcare workers including those without patient contact be immunized for the flu annually. #FIGHTFlu
