At a recent Kentucky Hospice and Palliative Care (KAHPC) Conference, Hospice of Hope Chaplain Keith Sergent won the Above and Beyond Award. Each year during the state association conference, KAHPC awards individuals who make a meaningful impact to the statewide hospice and palliative care movement.
The Above and Beyond Award was developed to recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in providing quality hospice care and have demonstrated commitment and dedication to the hospice industry. The nominee must have demonstrated exemplary action in an unusual situation or have overcome adverse conditions when practicing. The person receiving this award should illustrate special characteristics of heroism or courage.
Michael Parker, Director of Development & PR for Hospice of Hope added, "We are extremely fortunate to have Keith on our staff. His professionalism and call to our mission is second to none.”
