Hospice of Hope Receives Elite Status Award

We are proud to announce that Hospice of Hope (OH) has been named a recipient of the prestigious Hospice Honors Elite and Hospice of Hope (KY) has been named a recipient of the prestigious Hospice Honors designation from Matrix Care for 2026. This national award recognizes top-performing hospice agencies that deliver exceptional patient care and family support, as directly evaluated by caregivers through the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey.

While standard Hospice Honors recognition requires an agency to score above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on at least 18 out of 22 quality indicator measures, the Elite distinction represents the absolute pinnacle of quality care. To earn the Hospice Honors Elite status, Hospice of Hope scored above the national benchmark on 100% (all 22) of the evaluated quality measures.

This achievement highlights performance across critical care delivery areas, including clinical responsiveness, pain and symptom management, clear and compassionate communication, timely support, and overall family guidance through end-of-life care.
