ospice of Hope is a non-profit organization that has been providing quality hospice care for more than 21 years. As a non-profit organization we accept all eligible patients regardless of their ability to pay. In fact, since 1990 we have provided over one million dollars of uncompensated care those who live in our organization's eleven county service area. All donations received by Hospice of Hope are redirected into direct patient care support, children's grief camps, bereavement support and other special needs programs. Community support and donations have always been the backbone of our organization's success. We invite you to help continue the Tradition of Service, Care & Hope by making a contribution to Hospice of Hope.

Hospice of Hope recognizes that each person is different on how they would like their dollars donated. In addition to standard donations and memorials, we can create specialized programs that best fit you and your family's wishes.

Donor Recognition Library

The Trompe l'oeils Donor  Mural is a one-of-a-kind work of art gracing the foyer of both administrative offices. The bookcase is filled with books of different sizes. They may be purchased and inscribed with the names of donors or loved ones. The top two levels of giving also entitle the donor to have a room named in the Hospice of Hope building.

Individual Memorial / Honorary Giving

Gifts are always appropriate: at the time of a friend or loved one's death; on a special anniversary; or in gratitude for memories and special relationships.

Hospice of Hope publishes a list each year of those honored or remembered and acknowledges all gifts received.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is a contribution arranged during the giver's lifetime, but not received by Hospice of Hope until after the donor's death. A planned gift can be made through a will, a life insurance policy or trust. It can be in cash, real estate, stocks or other resources. Planned giving lets you, the giver, make a major contribution to Hospice of Hope without sacrificing spendable income.

Our Development Director is available to speak with you about bequests, life insurance, annuities and the estate planning tool known as the Charitable Remainder Trust. Most gifts are tax-deductible.

Hopes & Dreams Program

This is a newly created program that provides last wish opportunities to our patients. These are small, but memorable gifts such as stroll in the park, a quiet dinner for two, a trip to the zoo, a gently boat ride down the Ohio River or any other gift that can make the last days more meaningful. This program, run by Hospice of Hope Social Workers, is designed to add value to the quality care already provided by our staff.
